Erik ten Hag isn’t shying away from the heat as Manchester United face growing pressure after a rough start to the season.
The Dutch manager, who led United to FA Cup glory last year, has been in the spotlight following a humiliating 3-0 defeat at home to Liverpool. Although the Red Devils did registered back to back wins in the last week.
But with the team’s next match against Crystal Palace looming, Ten Hag insists he’s ready to turn things around.

'We’ll bounce back stronger' — says Ten Hag
Speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the clash with Crystal Palace, Ten Hag addressed concerns over his future at Old Trafford. With just six points from four games, fans and critics alike have questioned whether he’s the right man for the job.
But the Dutchman remains confident, stating, “I know when we are losing, there is pressure... But yes, to answer your question, I feel the backing. We are in this together.”

Despite a shaky start, Ten Hag reminded everyone that he’s no stranger to tough situations. After all, he’s already lifted two trophies in his two years at United, including a stunning FA Cup win over Manchester City.
And while critics have been quick to pounce after recent struggles, the former Ajax boss remains determined to lead the Red Devils back to the top.
What Erik ten Hag said on criticism?
Ten Hag also pointed out that being at the helm of Manchester United means facing constant criticism.
“Oh, they always want to let Manchester United fail,” he said, suggesting that many want to see the club stumble. But the Dutchman isn’t fazed. “The only way we can change this... we as a team, we have to turn this around.”
Though the defeat to Liverpool stung, there have been recent signs of improvement, with dominant wins over Southampton and Barnsley.
However, Ten Hag knows it will take more than just a couple of big victories to quiet the doubters. As the manager looks ahead to the season, he remains focused on "constructing a good team" and once again chasing silverware.
For Manchester United fans, the road may be bumpy, but Ten Hag is confident that, with time and patience, the Red Devils can rise again.
