Tottenham starlet Tashan Oakley-Boothe has confirmed that he is "fit and well" after a horror collision during England's Uefa Under-17 European Championship semi-final victory over Turkey.
The midfielder was accidentally elbowed in the neck during the game, leaving him unconscious for over 10 minutes.
Paramedics tended to Oakley-Boothe on the pitch after Turkey's players gestured for medical assistance, and he was stretchered off.
He has now confirmed, however, that he is recovering from the incident, and has expressed his pride in his team-mates, after they sealed a 2-1 win to progress to the final, where they will meet Spain.
"Proud of all the boys," Oakley-Boothe wrote on Twitter. "Final here we come. Glad to say I'm fit and well and thanks for the messages, much appreciated."
