England interim head coach Lee Carsley has offered Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke a bold recall to the Three Lions senior squad for the first time since 2017.
Spurs smashed their club transfer record ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign to secure a £65m ($86m) deal to sign Solanke from Bournemouth after he netted 19 top-flight goals last season.
Despite a mixed start in North London, the 27-year-old has eased back to full fitness, with goals in successive EPL games, ahead of Carsley's call.

England's Nations squad: Who's in and who's out?
Solanke's call-up is the headline grabber in Carsley's latest roster as he looks to add to his sole international cap from seven years ago.
However, there are also changes elsewhere in the squad, with former Manchester United captain Harry Maguire omitted and Manchester City skipper Kyle Walker recalled after missing the September games.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham is also back, after injury kept him sidelined last month, with Jarrod Bowen and Eberechi Eze not involved this time.
Will Solanke play for England?
This is the key question for Spurs fans eager to see Solanke given a chance by Carsley and he is likely to see some action across the October double header.
Captain Harry Kane has been named in the squad, despite concerns over his fitness, and the Bayern Munich star remains the clear first-choice as Carsley's central attacker.
Solanke will battle with Ollie Watkins for a chance to impress off the bench with Kane unlikely to complete 90 minutes in quick succession.
England's next games
England face two games this month, and two in November, in their six-match Nations League series as aim for promotion from League B back to League A.
Below are the Three Lions remaining fixtures in 2024:
- Greece (H) - October, 10
- Finland (A) - October 13
- Greece (A) - November 14
- Republic of Ireland (H) - November 17
