Hollywood actor and Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds has extended a playful invitation to Liverpool's star player, Mohamed Salah, to consider a move to the League One club.
As Salah's contract with Liverpool enters its final year, speculation about his future is rife. Despite being linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, Salah seems committed to staying with the Reds for the current season. However, that didn't stop Reynolds from making a lighthearted bid for the Egyptian star.
During a promotional tour for the upcoming "Deadpool & Wolverine" film, Reynolds and his co-star Hugh Jackman were asked which Premier League player they would like to be.
Jackman, a fan of Salah, praised the player's professionalism and talent, comparing his own dedication to his craft to Salah's consistency on the pitch.

A lighthearted pitch from Hollywood to Mo Salah
Reynolds, known for his wit, couldn't resist joining in. He jokingly urged Salah to consider a move to Wrexham, saying,
"Mo, you would be warmly embraced at the Racecourse Ground in North Wales."
Jackman added to the fun, suggesting Salah might not play the full 90 minutes but could make an impact in shorter stints. Reynolds cheekily quipped,
"All we need is five. Think about it."
The duo's playful banter comes as Salah remains a key player for Liverpool, where he has been a standout performer since his arrival from Roma in 2017.
His contributions have helped the team secure numerous titles, including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and more. With his contract set to expire in 2025, Salah's future at Liverpool has been a topic of much discussion.

What's next for Salah and Wrexham
While the prospect of Salah joining Wrexham is highly unlikely, Reynolds' cheeky proposal has certainly caught the attention of fans and media alike.
The actor's involvement with the Welsh club, alongside fellow actor Rob McElhenney, has brought a wave of publicity and excitement to Wrexham AFC.
As Wrexham continues its pre-season tour in North America, facing off against teams like Chelsea and the Vancouver Whitecaps, the club's profile keeps growing. Meanwhile, Liverpool prepares for a friendly match against Real Betis, with Salah expected to be a central figure in the upcoming season.
