Liverpool coach Arne Slot has welcomed back a trio of Euro 2024 stars, as he continues to assess his new squad for the 2024/25 season.
Andrew Robertson, Dominik Szoboszlai and Vitezslav Jaros all reported back for the start of their pre-season training on Tuesday after being given extra time off by the incoming head coach at Anfield, following the summer tournament in Germany.

Robertson and Szoboszlai played against each other in the group stages, with Hungary's last-gasp winner in the final Group A match breaking the hearts of Scotland skipper Robertson and his national teammates, who were thwarted in their attempt to qualify for the knockout stage of a major tournament for the first time.
That result ultimately did no favors for Hungary either, who also flew home early — while Czechia goalkeeper Jaros was an unused substitute in all three games as his country finished bottom of Group F.
All three players were integrated back into the fold, with Slot also keen get a chance to look at 11 other players who were involved in the Euros and the Copa America.
Diogo Jota (Portugal) and Alisson Becker (Brazil) will likely rejoin within the next 10-14 days after both were eliminated in the quarterfinals of their respective tournaments, but another nine players — including England duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez, Luis Diaz of Colombia and Alexis Mac Allister, who won the Copa America with Argentina — will be given further time off.
As a result, their involvement in the pre-season tour of the United States is likely to be minimal.
