Manchester City team news: Sane, Sterling, Silva & De Bruyne start vs West Ham image

Pep Guardiola has named his starting XI to face West Ham on Sunday, with the Catalan coach picking a hugely attacking side for the Irons' visit.

There are four changes in total from the side that beat Southampton during the week, with David Silva, Leroy Sane, Danilo and Eliaquim Mangala coming into the team.

Guardiola has decided to err on the side of caution by leaving Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho out of the game ahead of the Manchester derby, with both players one yellow card away from suspension.

Mangala joins Nicolas Otamendi, Danilo and Kyle Walker in defence, with Silva flanked by Fabian Delph and Kevin de Bruyne in midfield.

Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane will feature either side of Sergio Aguero in attack.

Meanwhile, Pablo Zabaleta dons the captain's armband for the Hammers as he returns to his former club.

Man City starting XI: Ederson; Otamendi, Mangala, Danilo; Walker, Silva, De Bruyne, Delph; Sterling, Aguero, Sane

Man City subs: Bravo, Yaya Toure, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Bernardo, Jesus, Kompany

West Ham starting XI: Adrian; Zabaleta, Rice, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Fernandes, Kouyate, Obiang, Masuaku, Lanzini, Antonio

West Ham subs: Trott, Johnson, Quina, Arnautovic, Martinez, Ayew, Sakho
