Manchester United's busy summer is set to continue, with the club keen on adding 2022 World Cup finalist Adrien Rabiot to a transitioning squad.
United have already completed the £52 million ($68m) acquisition of 18-year-old defender Leny Yoro from Lille on Thursday, with striker Joshua Zirkzee arriving for £35 million ($45m) from Bologna earlier in the week.
But the summer shopping spree is far from done for United, with a €70 million ($76m) move to land Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain dominating the rumour mill.
Ugarte is being eyed as a new midfield partner for Rabiot, who is 'getting closer' to signing for the Old Trafford outfit on a Bosman transfer, as per French journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, two years after their initial attempt to lure him away from Juventus.

Erik ten Hag had marked the French international as a key target during his first transfer window as manager of the Red Devils. At one point, a deal seemed almost finalized.
However, negotiations ultimately fell through when Rabiot decided to remain with Juventus. Additionally, there were rumors that his mother and agent, Veronique Rabiot, quashed the move due to disagreements over wage demands.

The 29-year-old French international is a free agent after rejecting a new contract offer from Italian heavyweights Juventus, where he racked up over 200 appearances across five years at Allianz Stadium.
Rabiot has garnered interest from a raft of top clubs, including Man United's arch-rivals Liverpool. However, the Frenchman is said to be favouring a move to Old Trafford.
