Manchester United are expected to spend big once again next summer after major reinforcements brought in ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Erik ten Hag was handed a sizeable transfer budget by the club's new owners, as the Dutch coach looked to revamp his squad, with new faces including Joshua Zirkzee, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte.

Despite the speculation over ten Hag's position at Old Trafford, the club will back whoever is in charge going into the 2025/26 campaign, with transfer targets already lined up.

As per reports from the Manchester Evening News, Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is back on the Red Devils radar, with a transfer clause of £68m ($89m) reactivated next summer.

Eze scored 11 EPL goals, and made four assists, for Oliver Glasner's side in 2023/24 and the Eagles battled to retain him and club captain Marc Guehi in August.

Despite previous interest in the England international from Arsenal and Tottenham, United are rumoured to have gained an edge via their willingness to pay Palace's clause, with their rivals still assessing the situation on the 26-year-old.
