In a summer of minimal activity for Liverpool, the club's first potential sale could soon be finalized. Galatasaray's president, Dursun Ozbek, and transfer manager, Cenk Ergun, have reportedly travelled to England to complete a deal for Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

The Dutch international, valued at around £30 million ($38.6 million), has struggled to secure a regular starting spot at Anfield and could be on his way out.

Gravenberch struggles and Liverpool's quiet transfer window

Ryan Gravenberch joined Liverpool last summer along with Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, and Dominik Szoboszlai, but failed to make a significant impact.

The 22-year-old managed only 1,121 minutes of play in the Premier League, falling behind his fellow midfielders in the pecking order. Despite Jurgen Klopp leading the team to another title challenge and securing Champions League qualification, Gravenberch's time at Liverpool has been underwhelming.

According to Turkish outlet Yenisafak, Galatasaray is keen to secure Gravenberch's services and is pushing for a quick deal. The club's president and transfer manager are in England to finalize the transfer, which could see the midfielder leave Liverpool with a contract that runs until 2028.

The sale of Gravenberch would be Liverpool's first of the summer and could provide manager Arne Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes with additional funds to bolster the squad.

While the Reds have not made any new signings yet, fans are hopeful that the club will bring in fresh faces before the end of the transfer window.

As Liverpool continues their pre-season tour in the United States, the potential departure of Gravenberch highlights the club's ongoing efforts to refine its squad.
