Gabriel Jesus had to be stretchered off the pitch in Brazil's friendly clash with Argentina on Friday after taking a blow to the head from Manchester City team-mate Nicolas Otamendi.
Messi & Dybala need time to gel
The Albiceleste defender lined up in a back three as coach Jorge Sampaoli got his reign underway with a 1-0 win over his country's eternal rivals, but the centre-back may face a backlash from his club boss when he returns to the Etihad.
A goal up with just minutes to go, Otamendi caught the Brazil forward in the face with his elbow as he attempted to clear his lines, and Jesus quickly fell to the ground clutching his face.
The damage did not look overly serious but medical staff were called onto the pitch and swiftly carried the 20-year-old off the field of play.
Brazil coach Tite said after the contest the attacker sustained a small cut to the face and had gone to the hospital as a precaution, but did not believe the injury was serious.
However, given the scare the incident caused, Man City fans are sure their Catalan boss will have a word or two for Otamendi upon his return to club duty.

But Pep is going to kill Otamendi. I really hope Gabriel Jesus is alright.
