As the season winds down every match is more important than the last.

This week, Chelsea briefly widened the gap at the top to seven points - only for Tottenham to close it right back to four by beating hated rivals Arsenal in the north London derby.

In fact, half of the Goal team of the week features teams in the title chase, and you can find them and others below.

GK: Eldin Jakupovic – Hull City – 1 Game, 1 Save, 1 Penalty Save, 1 Clean Sheet = 12 Points

DF: Gary Cahill – Chelsea – 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Clean Sheet = 14 Points

Cahill, seemingly out of nowhere, now leads all defenders in goals with six. The reason he ended up with the most points in the Goal game this week, though, is that Chelsea managed their first clean sheet in the last 10 matches. With Middlesbrough on the horizon, you’d imagine Cahill & Co. can repeat that feat on Monday.

DF: Stephen Ward – Burnley – 1 Game, 1 Assist, 1 Clean Sheet = 10 Points

DF: Jan Vertonghen – Tottenham - 1 Game, 1 Clean Sheet = 7 Points

Vertonghen is having arguably his best ever season at Tottenham. He’s helped them to a league high 17 clean sheets and has even put a few vicious shots on goal of late. In this match the Belgian, along with Victor Wanyama in front of him, ensured that Arsenal found no joy attacking through the middle.

DF: Marcos Alonso – Chelsea – 1 Game, 1 Clean Sheet = 7 Points

MF: Dele Alli – Tottenham – 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

MF: Gylfi Sigurdsson – Swansea – 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

After several weeks of futility, he popped up with one of the most important goals for Swansea this season. The curling free kick was terrific in and of itself but his direction to Llorente to move forward caused Ander Herrera to abandon his post on the, well, post and allowed his effort to find the back of the net.

MF: Emre Can – Liverpool – 1 Game, 1 Goal = 8 Points

FW: Sergio Aguero – Man City - 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Assist = 10 Points

With his goal at the weekend, Aguero has now scored in seven of his last 10 matches. The assist, however, felt like a passing to the torch as the young Gabriel Jesus scored the chance. Unfortunately the Argentinian picked up an injury and is expected to miss the next match and potentially the rest of the season.

FW: Alvaro Negredo – Middlesbrough – 1 Game, 1 Goal, 1 Assist = 10 Points

FW: Harry Kane – Tottenham – 1 Game, 1 Goal = 7 Points
