Manchester City’s goal-scoring machine Erling Haaland has left fans and pundits baffled after revealing his unusual choice of pre-game snack.
The Norwegian striker, known for his prolific goal-scoring abilities, shared that he prefers something quite unconventional to fuel his performances on the pitch.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Haaland was asked about his go-to snacks before matches. His response?
"On game day or in general? Snacks... raw milk." While most athletes stick to tried-and-true pre-game meals, Haaland’s choice adds to his already quirky off-field persona.

Despite the odd snack choice, Haaland’s routine is clearly effective. The 24-year-old striker has been a force to be reckoned with, scoring 52 goals in the 2022-23 season and 38 goals last term.

His incredible diet, which reportedly includes around 6,000 calories a day and features cow hearts and livers, seems to be working wonders.
As Haaland prepares to lead Manchester City against newly-promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday, followed by a trip to West Ham, it’s clear that whatever he’s doing off the pitch is translating into success on it.
Whether it’s raw milk or sheer talent, Haaland continues to dominate as one of the world’s best strikers.
