Atletico Madrid remain open to a transfer swap deal involving Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and Joao Felix.
The two clubs have been locked in transfer talks in recent weeks with the potential for several players trading places in London and Madrid.
However, the collapse of Samu Omorodion's move to Chelsea has complicated matters, with Atletico hoping to use a portion of that fee to complete their deal for Gallagher.
Gallagher has dramatically flown back from Madrid, after the two clubs agreed a £36m ($46m) fee, with the final details unconfirmed.

With Diego Simeone still keen to bring Gallagher in for the 2024/25 season, Felix has been offered as part of a swap deal, with the Portugal international failing to secure a return to Barcelona.
"He is doing very well, as you can see. His behaviour is what is expected of any footballer at Atletico. Committed, training in the best way, ready for whatever is proposed to him", he said ahead of their La Liga opener at Villarreal on August 19.
"Time will tell if we can use him tomorrow or not."
Felix spent six months on loan at Chelsea in the second half of the 2022/23 season, and despite missing out his first choice of Barcelona, the Portugal international sees a return to Stamford Bridge as a chance to revive his career.
Gallagher has been removed from the Chelsea first team squad by Enzo Maresca, and will not feature in their Premier League opener against Manchester City today, with a return to Madrid expected next week.
