Chelsea fans are adjusting to a host of changes for the 2024/25 campaign as they look to build on a solid end to last season.

After Mauricio Pochettino rallied his troops in the final weeks of 2023/24, the Blues sealed sixth place in the Premier League, which eventually secured them a European place.

However, despite showing signs of improvement in 2024, Chelsea opted to remove Pochettino with Enzo Maresca lured as his replacement.

Maresca's campaign includes a busy start with Chelsea in action in the UEFA Europa Conference League for the first time in their history.

Chelsea secured an automatic spot in the playoffs, where victory across two legs, will put them through to the league stages.

UEFA have now confirmed their opponents for the playoffs, and Marseca's team will take on the losers of a Europa League Third Qualifying Round clash between Sporting Braga and Servette.

Braga finished fourth in the Portuguese top-flight last season with Servette third in the Swiss Super League.

The first leg takes place at Stamford Bridge on August 22 with the return leg on August 29.

Maresca's squad are due back in the UK on August 7, following their USA preseason tour, with the Blues Premier League campaign kicking off against defending champions Manchester City on August 18.
