Former Chelsea player and first team boss Frank Lampard has hinted he would be interested in leading the England national side in future.
Lampard is currently out of the game, after leaving Stamford Bridge following a caretaker spell in charge, at the end of the 2022/23 Premier League season.
The 46-year-old is currently working as a TV pundit, but has consistently indicated his long-term plan is to return to coaching, if the right opportunity comes up.

Lampard's previous spells at Chelsea and Everton have given him some crucial EPL experience but he does not look likely to be approached by a top-flight team in the immediate future.
With the possibility of a vacancy opening up with the Three Lions, Lampard claimed it is something he would consider, if the FA brought forward an offer.
Speaking on The Sports Agents podcast, Lampard said: "As an English player who played 100+ times, and an English person who's very proud – of course, the England set up is something. I never dreamed of playing as many times for England, let alone now as a coach.
"So, now as a coach, you know, I would be crazy to say, ‘Oh no, that would never interest me.’ It would have to be something they (the FA) would want me to do, and be something I want to do, if thought I could add value to it in any way."
Who will replace Gareth Southgate as England manager?
Former Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate opted to step down after losing to Spain in the final of Euro 2024 in July.
Southgate led England to successive European finals, but they twice came up short, against Italy and Spain.
His decision to depart could open up the potential for the FA to push for an experienced coach with major trophies on their CV.
Lee Carsley has stepped up from U21 boss, on an interim basis, until the end of 2024. That includes two UEFA Nations League games in October and two more in November.
The current indication is that if Carsley emerges from those matches with positive results, he will be given the job permanently, despite his underwhelming level of experience.
