Bayern Munich have removed Liverpool star Alisson from their shortlist to replace Manuel Neuer in 2025.
Veteran star Neuer is out of contract at the end of the 2024/25 season, with no indication at this stage that the Bundesliga giants plan to renew his deal, as they search for options.
If Neuer does leave, it would punch a gaping hole in Bayern Munich's squad, which Neuer has filled for the majority of the last 15 years in Bavaria.

Alisson previously confirmed he rejected a summer move to the Saudi Pro League as he remains committed to Arne Slot's Anfield rebuild, with Bayern now looking elsewhere.
Reports from Sky Sports Germany, via ESPN, claim the door is not closed on a renewal for Neuer into the 2025/26 campaign.
Other options include recalling Artur Nubel from his loan at VfB Stuttgart, and installing him as No.1, or a move for Brighton's Bart Verbruggen.
As the Premier League returns from the international break, Alisson will remain sidelined until the the end of October through injury, with Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher set to cover.
Kelleher looks certain to move on next summer to gain a first-team spot elsewhere when Giorgi Mamardashvili completes his switch from Valencia.
