Arsenal could roll the January transfer dice on Lille and Canada hotshot Jonathan David.
David has been consistently linked with a potential move away from France with the Premier League and Serie A mooted as his favoured destinations.
The 24-year-old has netted 26 goals in all competitions in both of his last two full seasons at Lille and his hot streak has continued in the 2024/25 campaign.

His spot kick winner against Real Madrid ended Los Blancos 53-game unbeaten streak across La Liga and the UEFA Champions League as Carlo Ancelotti's charges lost 1-0 in Lille.
However, despite rivals Tottenham being long-term admirers of David, Arsenal are ready to make their move at the start of 2025, as per Football Insider.
The Gunners are confident of edging out interest from Italy, but a move could depend on Gabriel Jesus' plans at the Emirates Stadium, after a mixed start to the 2024/25 season.
Multiple reports have hinted at the Brazilian looking for a way out in January, as he is frustrated by a lack of first team prominence, and a transfer fee could be used to fund a drive for David.
Jonathan David Lille contract, transfer value
Lille club president Olivier Letang hinted at the French club being willing to sell David, who is into the final year of his contract in France, with £25m ($32m) suggested as a possible asking price.
That could be reduced by 50% in January as Lille eye their final chance to bring in a transfer fee, with his contract expiring in June.
