Arsenal midfielder Reiss Nelson looks set to leave the club in the coming weeks.

The 24-year-old has struggled to force his way into Mikel Arteta's plans across the last two seasons and the club are open to letting him move on.

Nelson is keen to join another Premier League team, as he looks for a fresh challenge in his career, with London rivals West Ham United showing a interest in him.

However, with no firm progress on a switch to the London Stadium, newly promoted Leicester City have emerged as an option for Nelson.

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Foxes has opened talks with Arsenal over a season long loan deal, with a purchase clause at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Leicester are looking to rebuild their midfield, following Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's move to Chelsea, and Nelson has previously worked with Cooper during their time in the England underage set up.

Nelson has been included in Arsenal's preseason squad for their USA summer tour, but he will be back in the UK at the start of August, with a new club potentially on the horizon.
