Arsenal and Chelsea have been reported as two of six Premier League teams keen on Botafogo's promising young attacker Igor Jesus.
Jesus, 23, only recently returned to Brazilian club football after four years playing in Dubai.
His bright start at O Glorioso, scoring five goals in his first 13 league starts, led to a call-up to Dorival Junior's national squad.
And Jesus equalised for the five-time former World champions before they went on to defeat Chile 2-1 in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.
Fichajes are now reporting that this hot start has not gone unnoticed in England.
Which Premier League teams want to sign Igor Jesus?
According to the report, in addition to the Gunners and the Blues, Jesus is on the radar of Brighton, Newcastle, Brentford and Nottingham Forest.
While Arsenal and Chelsea are undoubtedly the bigger name teams of the half-dozen, it can always be argued that consistent playing time is more of a guarantee with the other four.

Brighton, Newcastle and Brentford in particular can also point to strong league positions in recent years to further their case, while Forest — still finding their feet as an established top flight side again — have Danilo as a current example of how a Brazilian Jesus' age can head to England and make an impact.
