Nearly 200 athletes are in Ohio for the 2024 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

After two busy days of action, all eyes will turn toward Isabeau Levito and Ilia Malinin this weekend. Levito, 16, and Malinin, 19, are both back at the competition looking to defend their titles, but there will be plenty of challengers aiming for their crowns.

"I feel like last year I didn't have really much to lose. I felt like I was just going to hopefully win the title," Levito said. "And this year, for a while I was really nervous about nationals because I was thinking of it like, 'Oh, I don't want to lose my title because it almost felt like if I wouldn't win this nationals.'

"Part of me was just so focused that I had to win this year because I won last year. But I've actually been thinking about it just as going in and to see if I can win again rather than like it has nothing to do with the fact that I won last year."
