It hardly gets better than this.

Nebraska and Texas, two of the most successful volleyball programs in NCAA history, will go head-to-head for this year's title. It's one of college volleyball's most intense rivalries, and for a good reason.

LIVE: Updates, highlights from Nebraska vs. Texas in NCAA volleyball championship

We'll see experience battle against young talent. For the Longhorns, it'll be the last match for Molly Phillips and legend, Asjia O'Neal. The Huskers, though, don't have any seniors on the court, starting five underclassmen.

While four of those underclassmen are freshmen, they've risen to the occasion. Harper Murray, an outside, earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors as well as being named an AVCA third-team All-American. Setter Bergen Reilly became the first freshman to win Big Ten Setter of the Year, and she was named a second-team All-American.

Texas may be the defending champions, but it wasn't expected to return to the title game, seeded No. 2 in the tournament. Powered by Madi Skinner, the Longhorns upset Stanford and Wisconsin to return to the championship match. The outside was named a first-team All-American as well as the Big 12 Player of the Year, and she's proven why all tournament. Through the past three matches, she's recorded 68 kills and 10 aces.

Buckle up for a defensive showdown in the winner-take-all season finale. Can Texas win back-to-back national championships, or will the Huskers complete a nearly perfect season and win their first title since 2017?
