The Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor fight/media circus/spectacle came to a head on Saturday night.
In the end, it's "Money" that stands atop the boxing world, once again.
LOOK: Must-see photos from Mayweather-McGregor fight
It was unlike anything we've seen in the past, and it's safe to say that it far exceeded the expectations of many fight fans across the world.
For one night — at least, and probably only — Mayweather is the "savior" and hero of boxing.
MORE: Who predicted the fight correctly, who got it wrong?
And for McGregor, a true chance at sports immortality presented itself, and he answered the call of duty: Going toe-to-toe with boxing's best for 9 1/2 rounds.
Some dismissed the bout as nonsense. But in the end, it was as it was built:

Wild. Crazy. Fun.

12:05 a.m.: McGregor is in the ring now, seems to be a pro-McGregor crowd.
12:07 a.m.: Mayweather walking out now. This is happening.
12:10 a.m.: Iiiiiittttttt's Shoooowtiiiiiiiimmeeeee!
12:12 a.m.: I'll be scoring the fight with round-by-round updates as we go along, so expect one update at the end of each round!
12:13 a.m.: Opening bell. And we're off!
12:16 a.m. Round 1 to McGregor (10-9, 1-0 McGregor): McGregor was busier and got some good punches in. Mayweather feeling him out as he is apt to do, and leaning on the ropes. McGregor is going to need to win the earlier rounds if he is going to win this fight.
12:20 a.m. Round 2 to McGregor (10-9, 2-0 McGregor): McGregor is busier, again, and is landing some off-angle shots on Mayweather. He's not exactly the most technically sound fighter (obviously) but it seems to be keeping Mayweather off balance some. The fight is still young.
12:25 a.m. Round 3 to McGregor (10-9, 3-0 McGregor): McGregor was warned numerous times for hammer fists to the back of Mayweather's head. McGregor was popping the jab a bit. Mayweather still not very active.
12:28 a.m. Round 4 to McGregor (10-9, 4-0 McGregor): Man, I'm really having a hard time believing McGregor looks pretty decent in this fight. Mayweather's most active round, and he was nailing some pretty big shots, but McGregor's jabbing and counter punches are finding a home now. But this round could have gone either way, I think.
12:33 a.m. Round 5 to Mayweather (10-9, 4-1 McGregor): Lots of McGregor's punches are just to pepper Mayweather. Mayweather scored some good punches here, looks like he's starting to figure McGregor out.
12:37 a.m. Round 6 to Mayweather (10-9, 4-2 McGregor): Mayweather isn't fighting how he usually does: He's coming forward (a lot), keeping McGregor on his heels now. He's starting to land some pretty big shots, and you can see some redness under McGregor's eyes now. Good round for Mayweather.
12:41 a.m. Round 7 to Mayweather (10-9, 4-3 McGregor): McGregor looks really tired. The longer this goes, the more it looks like Mayweather's fight. He's landing big shots. McGregor shows good defense, but not getting any juice on his punches, and Mayweather is capitalizing.
12:45 a.m. Round 8 to Mayweather (10-9, 4-4 all): Wow. This is actually a pretty damn good fight. McGregor is noticeably tired, and Mayweather is after him. "Money" is landing some good shots up top.
12:49 a.m. Round 9 to Mayweather (10-9 5-4 Mayweather): Mayweather came all the way back and McGregor is on the outs. McGregor is absolutely gassed and Mayweather sees it. There's a knockout coming, if not, a knock down, for sure.
12:51 a.m. Round 10 FINISH: Mayweather stays on McGregor, nailing right hand after right up top until the ref has to step in and stop the fight. What a fun freaking fight.
Floyd Mayweather defeats Conor McGregor via TKO
Gervonta Davis defeats Francisco Fonseca via KO
11:37 p.m. FINISH: Fonseca looks like he took a pretty nasty punch square to the back of the head, and the ref counted Fonseca to 10. What a bizarre end to a pretty OK fight. Pretty embarrassing that the ref missed a clear illegal punch.
11:35 p.m. End of Round 7: Davis looks like he has no interest in fighting tonight. Fonseca staying on him, but still Davis' fight.
11:31 p.m.: SN's Steven Muehlhausen is on-site of Mayweather vs. McGregor, giving you content like this. Follow him @SMuehlhausenMMA

11:31 p.m. End of Round 6: Fonseca pushing forward, Davis trying to find his counter punch. Hasn't happened yet. Using the jab, but not working all the way.
11:26 p.m. End of Round 5: Fonseca is trying to land punches to keep Davis from showboating but it's not working. Davis isn't really throwing, trying to bait Fonseca. Kind of making for a snoozer at this point.
11:23 p.m. End of Round 4: Davis was showboating the entire round, essentially. Fonseca won the round because of it, landing some good shots in the process.
11:22 p.m.: Davis playing with Fonseca, keeping his hands behind his back, baiting Fonseca into awkward angles.
11:19 p.m. End of Round 3: Davis doing some more work in the body. Think this round goes to Davis. Not all of his punches are getting through, but Fonseca isn't out-working Davis enough to offset that.
11:14 p.m. End of Round 2: Davis really started putting some steam behind some of his punches, but not all of them got through Fonseca's guard clean. Still, he did some good work.
11:12 p.m.: Ref stops the action to ask Davis' corner to cut off the tassles on his boots. Because boxing, and all.
11:10 p.m. End of Round 1: Davis trying to hit some big shots, but Fonseca is denying him big time.
11:09 p.m.: Steve Harvey is sitting ringside. He predicts McGregor will win by decision. This meme is still relevant, right?
11:06 p.m.: This fight will be over by KO, and early, is my prediction. If not, you can yell at me on Twitter.
11:04 p.m.: Jimmy Lennon Jr. with the introductions, and we're soon to be off.
11:01 p.m.: Fonseca and Davis finally getting to the ring. Thanks for sticking around. You can find me on Twitter @JoeRiveraSN, and SN's Steven Muehlhausen is on site at the T-Mobile Arena, @SMuehlhausenMMA.
10:57 p.m.: Showtime showing some celebrities in the arena: LeBron James, Danny Garcia, Shawn Porter among the names in the building.
10:50 p.m.: Still a few minutes away from Davis vs. Fonseca. Jim Gray with McGregor in the locker room. Says he weighs 170 pounds entering the night.

10:49 p.m.: Errol Spence Jr. with Brian Custer now. Might be the most talented welterweight in the world right now. Says he's waiting for Keith Thurman to come back for a fight. Yes, please.
10:38 p.m.: Again, complete domination from from Jack. Just picture perfect fight for Badou.
Badou Jack defeats Nathan Cleverly via fifth-round TKO
10:35 p.m. FINISH: Jack was peppering Cleverly on the ropes for 2 1/2 minutes of the round. Weeks finally saw enough, as Cleverly wasn't fighting back on the ropes. Absolute domination from Jack.
What a performance by @BadouJack . He did what he'd told me he do: steal the show. #MayweathervMcgregor #MayweatherMcGregor
— Steven Muehlhausen (@SMuehlhausenMMA) August 27, 2017
10:31 p.m. End Round 4: Jack battered Cleverly in that round. Cleverly is leaking some serious blood, looks like from his nose. Jack nailed some hooks and some uppercuts. This looks to be over soon.
10:27 p.m. End Round 3: Jack with the round, he's changing up angles and looks, hitting Cleverly with a few different combos up top and in the middle.
10:26 p.m.: The latest from SN's Steven Muehlhausen.
Starting to feel the buzz inside he T-Mobile Arena as we get closer to #MayweathervMcgregor . #MayweatherMcGregor pic.twitter.com/4EnsUSzoek
— Steven Muehlhausen (@SMuehlhausenMMA) August 27, 2017
10:23 p.m End Round 2: Cleverly threw some punches, but didn't have a lot of steam on them. Jack landed some good 1-2 combos and kept mixing up top and down low.
10:20 p.m. End Round 1: Jack and Cleverly threw a lot in round one, but lots to the body. Jack went to the body a lot. Good start, scintillating pace.
10:16 p.m.: And the opening bell rings. Tony Weeks officiating this bout.
10:10 p.m.: This should be a very, very good fight.
10:03 p.m.: A little down time before our next bout. Stick around.
10:01 p.m.: Going to have to agree with Steve here.
WOW! That was some off the wall scoring there as Tabiti wins by UD. 100-90? Guess I need my eyes checked. #MayweathervMcgregor

10:00 p.m.: One fight down, a few to go: Friendly reminder, SN's Steven Muehlhausen is on-site in Vegas for the fight, and you can follow him @SMuehlhausenMMA. If you want to throw me a follow, I'm @JoeRiveraSN.
Andrew Tabiti defeats Steve Cunningham via unanimous decision
9:59 p.m.: SHOSTATS shows Tabiti landed 36 percent of his punches as opposed to 27 percent of Cunningham's. He didn't throw a lot, but he was effective, and he got the W by unanimous decision. 97-93 twice and 100-90 once.
9:56 p.m. End Round 10: Cunningham was aggressive trying to get in, but Tabiti was picking his spots. He didn't really throw a ton of punches tonight, but he did enough to get the W here tonight, in SN's eyes, at least.
9:52 p.m. End Round 9: Tabiti went to the body a few times and peppered Cunningham with a really quick jab. He's fought a very, very good fight tonight: his punches have been crisp and he's worked Cunningham well. Final round coming up.
9:48 p.m. End Round 8: Tabiti and Cunningham started fighting inside a bit more, no clear advantage. Tabiti hit a big overhand right late in the round after a break. Think that was another one for Tabiti, though not a lot of action.
9:44 p.m. End Round 7: Cunningham came out trying to be the aggressor again. Tabiti was warned for holding and hitting, but Tabiti was still throwing at the more opportune times. Round to Tabiti.
9:40 p.m. End Round 6: Tabiti still moving well around the ring, nailing some good combos and jabs and getting out. Cunningham seems to be throwing the heavier, slower punches and isn't connecting as much.
9:36 p.m. End Round 5: Tabiti knows when to throw, and he's getting punches in some good windows. Tabiti looks real smooth in the ring.
9:32 p.m. End Round 4: Tabiti missed some open windows to land some big punches. Round 4 to Tabiti, as Cunningham is missing some counter punches in the bout.
9:28 p.m. End Round 3: Tabiti looked better in that round, moving around a bit more, slipping in a jab when he can. Landed a few good counter punches. That round goes to Tabiti.
9:24 p.m. End Round 2: Cunningham landed some good counter punches and a good left halfway through the round. He was the aggressor. Think that round goes to Cunningham.

— Steven Muehlhausen (@SMuehlhausenMMA) August 27, 2017
9:21 p.m. End Round 1: Both guys with the classic feeling-out round. Cunningham is the bigger guy in the ring, trying to find the distance. Think that round went to Tabiti, but could have went the other way, too.
9:17 p.m.: So we get set for our first main-card bout of the evening. Glad you could join me.

Below, you can recap all the action from tonight's preliminary fights on Fox, along with some of the more recent MayMac news!
Mayweather vs. McGregor prelim results
Yordenis Ugas defeats Thomas Dulorme via unanimous decision
8:58 p.m.: 94-91, and twice 93-92 all three in favor of Yordenis Ugas. Close fight, for sure. Good decision.
8:57 p.m.: This fight is really close. I think it might go to Ugas, but either way wouldn't surprise me. Didn't factor in the points taken away.
8:56 p.m.: And we go to the scorecards after 10 rounds. Very good fight. A little disappointed in Dulorme hitting low shots throughout the fight.
8:53 p.m.: Ref takes another point from Dulorme. He's let a lot go this fight. Very disappointing in the job he's done. Dulorme would have probably been DQed three times over if he caught the low shots Dulorme was scoring. This bout should be going to Ugas.
8:51 p.m.: End of Round 9. Man, these guys are still throwing. Ugas looking to the ref for the low blows. Dulorme is hitting low.
8:49 p.m.: Dulorme and Ugas trade hooks. Both fighters still up.
8:47 p.m.: Ugas looks like he's getting tired. Mouth is hanging wide open and was leaning on Dulorme at the end of the round. Dulorme may have taken that.
8:43 p.m.: Ugas hits the mat at the end of the round. Delorme hits a big-time left hook. End of Round 7. Delorme would win that round if he didn't get a point taken away.
8:42 p.m.: Dulorme hits Ugas with a big, big right uppercut and it snapped his head back. Ugas stood right in and took it. Wow. What a chin.
8:40 p.m.: Ref taking a point away from Dulorme for low blows. About time.
8:39 p.m.: I'm telling you, ref is letting a lot of low blows go. End of Round 6, Ugas is pulling away.
8:34 p.m.: Referee has missed a lot of low blows in this fight from what I've seen, but now he's called two in Round 5 on Ugas. Ugas' round, too.
8:33 p.m.: Ugas has looked good in this fight, definitely came prepared to go. Both guys keep moving, but throwing the money shots when they can.
8:30 p.m.: End of Round 4. Ugas warned a few times throughout the fight not to push. Both guys going back and forth. I'm not sure this is going all 10, but I also don't know who's fight it is to this point. Looks like it's tied at two rounds apiece.
8:26 p.m.: Both guys look like they're tiring a bit from all the bombs they're throwing. Fun to watch, but not really connecting with anything big. End of Round 3. Toss up at this point.
8:24 p.m.: Ugas is throwing some wild punches here. Both guys are throwing bombs, though not many connecting cleanly.
8:22 p.m.: Dulorme is knocked down twice in the span of about five seconds. First looked like he was a little off balance. Second was a straight punch that dropped him to a knee. End of Round 2.
8:18 p.m.: Good feeling out first round. Ugas was a little quicker, I think. Close, though.
8:16 p.m.: This fight was originally supposed to be "Showtime" Shawn Porter vs. Dulorme. Porter does put on a good show consistently, so it's unfortunate to see him not fighting tonight.
8:13 p.m.: Welterweight fight. Ugas is a former Olympian.
8:09 p.m.: Getting set for the next bout, Cuba vs. Puerto Rico as Ugas takes on Dulorme.
8:03 p.m.: Interesting.
Closer and closer 👀 #MayweathervMcgregor pic.twitter.com/P38bRKdi0k
— FOX Sports (@FOXSports) August 27, 2017
7:58 p.m.: One more preliminary fight to go before we go to the big show. The anticipation is killing me.
7:56 p.m.: Judges had it right. It was closer than you'd believe it would be, but still a good decision.
Juan Heraldez defeats Jose Borrego via unanimous decision
7:52 p.m.: End of Round 10, end of fight. Heraldez banked too many rounds in the early stages of the fight. By the time Borrego picked it up, it was too little, too late. Not a bad fight, though.
7:48 p.m.: End of Round 9: Borrego tries to finish the fight in the last 30 seconds, and came damn close a few times. Borrego will only win with a knockout, and he's coming closer.
7:47 p.m.: Borrego drops Heraldez with a hook. Heraldez keeps trying to hold. Borrego staying on top of him.
7:44 p.m.: End of Round 8. Borrego attempting to work Heraldez, but he's just too evasive.
7:43 p.m.: Heraldez peppering Borrego with the jab. Lots of hand speed there.
7:40 p.m.: End of Round 7, Heraldez throws some more crisp combos. Picked up steam second half of the round.
7:39 p.m.: Heraldez is running a bit more now, moving a bit further away from Borrego. Heraldez holding when Borrego gets closing.
7:37 p.m.: End of Round 6, Borrego got some shots in near the bell, but couldn't tell how clean they landed.
7:32 p.m.: End of Round 5 and Borrego is starting to get in a little closer. Still Heraldez's fight.
7:31 p.m.: Borrego is only 19 but he doesn't look that bad. Keeps switching between stances. Heraldez picking his spots, and he doesn't look that bad. He's been backpedaling all fight, but is still landing at a pretty effective rate.
7:28 p.m.: End of Round 4 and Borrego is starting to push a little more. When he gets inside, though, he's not really throwing. Heraldez keeping him away with nifty combos.
7:27 p.m.: Borrego trying to get inside but Heraldez won't allow it, grabbing when Borrego gets close.
7:24 p.m.: End of Round 3 and Heraldez looks to be in charge here. Borrego looks like he's doing a little damage on the inside, but Heraldez is keeping him at a distance.
7:19 p.m.: Heraldez still throwing some good combos in there, some swelling develops over the left eye of Borrego.
7:16 p.m.: Heraldez throwing some pretty nifty combos. Looks pretty decent in the ring letting his hands go.
7:11 p.m.: Ladies and gentlemen, Jimmy Lennon Jr. setting us up for our first fight this evening, Juan Heraldez vs. Jose Borrego (welterweights). Also, Lennon looks like Rutger Hauer.
6:58 p.m.: Getting ready for the preliminary fights on FOX now. I'll keep you best posted, everybody.
