Beach volleyball players will hit the sand at the 2024 Olympics next to Paris' most iconic landmark. The men's and women's beach volleyball tournaments will take place at a temporary stadium at the base of the Eiffel Tower.

The U.S. is the only country to medal in beach volleyball in every edition of the Olympics since 1996, and this year, the U.S. qualified two teams on both the men's and women's sides to compete.

On the women's side, the duo of Kelly Cheng and Sarah Hughes will play together, along with the team of Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss. Cheng, who previously competed in Tokyo in 2021, is reunited with her college partner Hughes. The duo became world champions in 2023 and are viewed as likely gold medal contenders.

Kloth and Nuss paired up in 2020 and went 36-0 in their one season together at LSU. Both will make their Olympic debuts in Paris.

On the men's side, Andy Benesh and Miles Partain are paired together, while Miles Evans and Chase Budinger clinched the final Paris bid in June. Benesh and Partain are also making their Olympic debuts after taking the bronze medal at the Beach Pro Tour Finals in Ostrava, Czech Republic. They will also be the youngest U.S. men's beach team in Olympic history.

Budinger is a former NBA player, having retired from basketball in 2017 before transitioning to volleyball. He teamed up with Evans in 2023.

The men's teams have not reached the podium since 2008, while on the women's side, the U.S. has medaled in every Olympics since 2004.

Here's everything you need to know to watch Team USA beach volleyball at the 2024 Paris Olympics, including the schedule and how to watch the teams in action.
