The 2024 Paris Olympics have been a festival to remember for Snoop Dogg.

The famed rapper has been a constant presence on NBC's broadcast of the festivities, chumming it up with athletes, their families, and celebrities alike as the network aims to project an image of swagger to its massive audience.

Snoop has been one of the highest-profile figures in all of sports as of late — despite not being a sports figure at all. With his presence looming large across various Olympic events, many are wondering just what the beloved artist can offer outside the world of rap.

One thing Snoop Dogg does bring to any appearance is height. His gangly frame belies a man who could very easily be shining on the hardwood, be that as a basketball player or volleyball star. Snoop is, obviously, neither, but he certainly has that sort of look to him.

So, just how tall is our favorite rapper-turned-television personality (or second, following "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak), and how does his height compare to some of our favorite Olympians?

The Sporting News has the answer.

How tall is Snoop Dogg?

Standing at a height of 6-4, Snoop Dogg walks around everyday life like a giant. His height can come as a surprise to those not in the know. Many have gotten used to diminutive rappers, including Kendrick Lamar (5-5), Lil' Wayne (5-5), and Lil' Uzi Vert (5-4).

Snoop is cut from a different cloth, however. He towers among his fellow MCs, cutting a menacing image among the legions of munchkins who share the limelight (and microphone) with him.

Snoop Dogg's height vs. Olympians

Things really get interesting when comparing Snoop's height to those of the people he has spent time watching and reporting on throughout this year's Olympics. For example, Snoop holds a sizable advantage in the height department over famed ball-players Stephen Curry (6-2), Jrue Holiday (6-3), Fred Kerley (6-3), and Caeleb Dressel (6-3). Compared to Noah Lyles (5-11), Snoop may as well be a colossus.

Despite his eye-catching height — and fairly lithe frame — Snoop found himself drawn to the gridiron rather than the hardwood during his youth. Nevertheless, with length like his, perhaps Snoop could have been an Olympic-grade athlete in another life. We know he has the lungs for it.

Snoop Dogg age

Snoop is 52, having been born on Oct. 20, 1971. He'll turn 53 later this year.

Even in his 50s, Snoop is wasting no time making his mark on the world of sports and media. His presence on NBC's Olympic coverage has been a roaring success thus far, and the network has turned to him time and time again to garner viewership, having him travel the French capital to attempt to coax audience out of even the most innocuous of situations.

Their commitment to Snoop has worked a treat so far; NBC reported that the Olympics opening ceremony drew 34 million viewers this year, a 79-percent increase over the event's figure back in 2021.
