And just like that, the 2024 Olympics are about to sunset in Paris. 

There is just one day left in the Summer Olympics, as the quadrennial international competition is set to conclude with the last few medals to be handed out Sunday. The closing ceremony in Paris will officially bring an end to the festivities.  

The United States is no stranger to coming home with plenty of gold. Team USA finished with the most medals at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo, winning 113 overall and 39 gold. How did they fare in 2024?
