More than 500 rowers will compete during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, as one of the competition's oldest sports is back on the proving ground. Although it is not the most well-known sport in the public eye, there are several storylines to watch.

Both the women's and men's teams have stars, as most have previous Olympics experience, with a bulk of it dating back more than a decade. Some names to watch include Karolien Florijn of the Netherlands and Kara Kohler of Team USA, the latter of whom is making her third appearance at the Games and is seeking a championship in the single skull competition.

On the men's side, Justin Best, Liam Corrigan, Michael Grady and Nick Mead will chase a Gold Medal in Paris.
