The 2024 Paris Olympics are finally here.
The opening ceremony for the world's most exciting collection of athletic competitions will begin on Friday, July 26. From there, the next two weeks will be filled with tremendous battles among the best athletes in the world in sports like basketball, swimming, gymnastics, track and field and many more.
Paris has added a unique twist to the 3.7-mile event, as it will not begin in a stadium for the very first time. Athletes will instead hop on boats and float past thousands of fans standing near the Seine River.
