After over two weeks of record-breaking performances and historic moments, the 2024 Paris Olympics are coming to an end.

This year's Summer Games kicked off with an opening ceremony like no other, held on the Seine River. The closing ceremony will be held at the Stade de France, the country's national stadium, which will be transformed into a concert hall for the celebration.

The Paris Games featured some incredibly exciting moments. The U.S. women's gymnastics team reclaimed gold in the team final. Novak Djokovic won his first gold medal in men's tennis. Katie Ledecky earned her 14th Olympic medal. Julian Alfred won St. Lucia's first medal, earning gold in the women's 100m sprint. The list goes on and on.

Up next, the Paralympic Games will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 28, and work has already begun on ushering in the next Summer Games.
