With almost two full weeks of the 2024 Olympics officially in the books, many sports have just started to heat up. Medals will once again be on the line in tonight's primetime broadcast schedule on NBC, with a handful of stars from diving and track and field highlighting the coverage.
NBC's primetime slate will kick off at 8 p.m. ET, with Americans Quincy Hall and Michael Norman will compete for a spot in the medal games in the 400-meter semifinals. Next up is the first individual diving medal event of these Games, the women's 10m platform.
In the 9 p.m. ET hour, USA star Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will compete in the semis of the women's 400-meter hurdles, and three Americans — Yared Nuguse, Cole Hocker and Hobbs Kessler — will vie for a podium spot in the 1,500 meters final alongside defending champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen and his fierce rival Josh Kerr.
In the 10 p.m. ET hour, Gabby Thomas will try for her first Olympic medal in the women's 200-meter final, and the broadcast will close with highlights from the USA vs. Brazil men's basketball quarterfinal.
