This Sunday, NBC will have full coverage of the 116th annual Millrose Games from New York.

The Millrose Games are considered the premier indoor track and field invitational, hosting hundreds of athletes from across the world.

It's hosted at The Armory, an indoor facility in Upper Manhattan known for its fast times and legendary performances. The meet's most coveted events are the final two --- the men's and women's mile race.

Last year, Yared Nuguse turned in the fastest American mile in history, running 3:47.38. It's the second-fastest mile all-time behind Ethiopian Yomif Kejelcha‘s world record of 3:47.01 from 2019.

Hobbs Kessler, 20, is another name to highlight in the mile run. Last Sunday, Kesser won the 1500m race at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix. He ran 3:33.66, which is the third-fastest indoor mile in American history behind Nuguse and Bernard Lagat.
