Imagine you are Michael Jordan — it's hard to do, but stick with me for a second.

You're in Jordan's shoes, sitting in a suite at an NHL game in Washington. You're enjoying a hockey contest with other high-level executives, and there is a little girl sitting in front of you chomping down popcorn.

You sneak up behind her and start playing peek-a-boo, trying to get a laugh of the girl, but she is solely focused on munching down as much buttery goodness as possible. Finally, you see she cracks a smile, enjoying the entertainment.

That girl could have gone on to do any sort of thing. She could have followed in the footsteps of her family and become an executive for a sports team. She could have been a doctor, an astronaut, a banker, any number of options.

What that little girl, who was chewing down on popcorn with the greatest basketball player of all time behind her, turned out to be was the greatest female Olympic swimmer of all time — Katie Ledecky.

The video of the two American greats is going viral again. With Ledecky headlining the 2024 Olympics in Paris, the clip of the two stellar athletes is a perfect example of the past meeting the present.

Here is more to know about the infamous video between Ledecky and Jordan.

At the time of the video, Jordan was a member of the NBA's Washington Wizards. One of the minority owners at the time was John Ledecky, who also was a minority owner of the NHL's Washington Capitals.

Jordan was with the executive at a Capitals hockey game alongside his niece — Katie. Jon is the uncle of the American swim star. He has since sold his stakes in the Washington teams and is now a co-owner of the New York Islanders.

There are very athletes who can saw they have had a more impressive career than Jordan. His six NBA championships, five MVPs and two Olympic gold medals make for an impressive resume.

However, Ledecky's 13 Olympic medals, including eight golds (and counting), certainly give him a run for his money.
