Caeleb Dressel swimming schedule: How to watch USA star's events live at 2024 U.S. Olympic team trials

Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Caeleb Dressel is hoping to add more to his collection at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. First, he'll have to earn his spot at the USA Olympic swimming trials in Indianapolis.

The 27-year-old swam in his first Olympic trials in 2012 at age 15 and went on to win two relay gold medals at the 2016 Olympics. Then, in Tokyo, he became the second athlete since 2000 to win five golds at one Olympic Games, joining swimming legend Michael Phelps.

If he manages to qualify for his third Olympics and wins three gold medals, he'll have 10 to his name, surpassing Matt Biondi (8) and Mark Spitz (9) for the second-most on the all-time list behind Phelps (23).

Caeleb Dressel events at the USA Olympic swimming trials

Dressel is expected to compete in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle and 100m butterfly races. He won all of those races during the Tokyo Olympics.

The 50m freestyle is his bread and butter. He's the defending Olympic champion for the event and the fastest American in history by more than three tenths of a second.
