Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin left during against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday after being struck in the face by a puck.
Ovechkin deflected the shot of the Wild's Chris Stewart, and the puck traveled up Ovechkin's stick and into face, sending the 32-year-old down onto the ice.

Officials called for a break in play in to clean up the blood left by Ovechkin while he immediately left the ice and headed back to the Capitals dressing room.
Luckily for the Caps and their fans, Ovechkin recieved medical attention and was back on the ice for the third period.
