USA Hockey released the roster for next year's U-17 team on Wednesday, and there are a few surprises—specifically the fact that there are no players from Minnesota on the list.
Also absent: Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, which has emerged as a major talent supplier over the last several years for the national team.
