Troy Brouwer should try baseball if he ever gets sick of that whole professional hockey player thing.

The Blues winger gave his team a 2-1 lead over the Sharks in the first period Monday night with an incredible shot. After San Jose goaltender Martin Jones made the initial blocker save, Brouwer whacked the puck out of midair and skipped it into the net.

Prior to this season, Brouwer had scored only seven goals in 78 playoff games. He now has eight in 19 playoff games during the Blues' postseason run.

And I'm pretty sure we can also score that last shot as a double to the left-field gap.
