Rob Gronkowski, entrepreneur, is now an NHL team owner.
According to ESPN.com, the Patriots tight end is among the original minority shareholders in Las Vegas' expansion NHL franchise, the newly named Vegas Golden Knights.

It's the latest business venture for Gronkowski, who already counts a party cruise ship, a party bus and a "Yo soy fiesta" T-shirt line among his side hustles.
The Golden Knights will open their inaugural season in 2017-18 in the brand new T-Mobile Arena, located on the famed Las Vegas Strip. So it's not difficult to sense a theme here for the NFL's happy-go-lucky king of fun.

The report also listed a number of other current or former professional athletes said to have purchased minority stakes in the club, including MLB slugger Jose Bautista, NFL cornerback Prince Amukamara and former NHL players Mark Recchi and Alexei Yashin.
Recchi, curiously, is on the Penguins' payroll as a player development coach. He told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on Wednesday he plans to divest his “very, very, very, small” share in the Golden Knights to avoid a blatant conflict of interest.
