What a ride it was last year for the Panthers.
Florida stunned the NHL world last season. After sneaking into the playoffs as the second wild-card team in the Eastern Conference, the Panthers went on to stun the Bruins in the first round, knock off the Maple Leafs in the second and sweep the Hurricanes in the conference final.
Unfortunately for South Florida fans, the run ended there, as the Panthers came up just short of the franchise's first Stanley Cup. The Cats were defeated in five games by the Golden Knights in the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.
Florida is expected to be a top team in the Eastern Conference again, Matthew Tkachuk was a legitimate superstar in the league last year, finishing with over 100 points and coming third in Hart Trophy voting. With a strong supporting cast of Aleksander Barkov, Carter Verhaeghe, Aaron Ekblad and Sergei Bobrovsky, don't be surprised to see the Panthers make a deep postseason run again.

How to watch Panthers games without cable
There are a number of ways to catch Panthers games throughout the 2023-24 season (NHL's blackout rules apply):
— If you're in the South Florida market, Fubo carries Bally Sports Florida, the Panthers' official regional sports network. Viewers inside of the South Florida market can find Panthers matchups all throughout the 2023-24 season. It also carries the ESPN family of networks and NHL Network. However, if you live outside of the South Florida area, Fubo will not carry the games on Bally Sports.
— For those living in the Miami area, DirectTV Stream also offers Bally Sports, as well as all the networks that air nationally televised games: ESPN, TNT and NHL Network.
— YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Sling TV will stream nationally televised games on ESPN and TNT, giving cord-cutters another streaming option. However, none of these services carry NHL Network or Bally Sports.
