Columbus Blue Jackets forward Nick Foligno was taken off the ice in a stretcher after a collision with referee Shane Heyer. Foligno was battling Kings forward Jeff Carter for a loose puck along the boards and Heyer attempted to jump out of the way, but Foligno's head hit the back of Heyer.

Foligno fell to the ice and lay motionless before he was taken off on a stretcher several minutes later.
