Pekka Rinne is known for making remarkable saves, but the Predators goaltender took it to another level Thursday night in Winnipeg, even if it wasn't on purpose.
Midway through the first period of Game 4, Rinne robbed Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey to keep the contest scoreless.
Rinne made an initial stop on Winnipeg forward Bryan Little and the puck found its way to Morrissey, who backhanded it toward the open side of the Nashville goal. Rinne tried to slide over and in the process, lost control of his goal stick. Somehow, the knob of the stick made contact with the puck and stopped it from finding its way into the back of the net as the netminder dropped it.
