Pat Maroon signed with the Blues last season to return home, this year he's going to Tampa Bay to possibly help out with a redemption run.
The Lightning announced Saturday, they have signed Maroon to a one-year, $900,000 deal.

"We're very pleased to add Pat to our organization today," Tampa Bay vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois said in a statement. "He brings size and physicality to our group as well as significant playoff experience. We expect Pat's to be a great addition to the roster."
Maroon, 31, scored 10 goals and added 18 assists for the Blues last season.
The forward was born in St. Louis and wanted to play for the team his entire career and got his first chance last season.
He did not produce great numbers during the regular season but Maroon made his time worth it with the Blues by scoring the game-winning goal in double-overtime of Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Stars.
St. Louis went on to win the first Stanley Cup in franchise history in seven games over Boston.
Maroon now joins a Tampa Bay team that set the record for most wins in a season last year (62) and was second all-time in points with 128. Despite that though, the Lightning exited the playoffs after a sweep at the hands of the Blue Jackets in the first round.
Maybe Maroon has the special sauce to get the Lightning over the hump, and playing for his old coach Jon Cooper (St. Louis Bandits) might help with that as well.
