If you're in the market to buy an NHL team, you're going to need a lot of money saved up.
The New York Rangers are the most valuable team in the NHL for the fourth consecutive year, according to Forbes' 20th annual list of NHL valuations.
Their worth? $1.55 billion, which is up three percent from last year.

The Toronto Maple Leafs come in second as they're worth $1.45 billion, which is up four percent from last year. Not far behind the Maple Leafs are their rivals, the Montreal Canadiens. Montreal saw a four percent increase from last year and is worth $1.3 billion.
Rounding out the top five are the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins, at $1 billion and $925 million, respectively. All five teams are part of the Original Six.
The average value change was six percent. Forbes says this is due to the league’s average operating income increasing 39 percent and hitting a record $25 million in the 2017-18 season.
Only two teams lost value in the last year. The Florida Panthers and Arizona Coyotes, who rank 30th and 31st in value, respectively, each lost three percent in value. Florida is valued at $295 million while the Coyotes are valued at $290 million.
The Stanley Cup-winning Washington Capitals saw the biggest increase as their value went up 16 percent. They are the 10th most valuable team in the league at $725 million.

Forbes also ranked the five highest-paid players over the last year. Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid tops the list with $19.5 million.
John Tavares, who signed seven-year, $77 million contract with the Maple Leafs in July, came in second at $17.3 million.
Carey Price, Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby round out the top five, making $15.6, $14.5 and $13.8 million respectively.
