We have ourselves a series.

The Lightning grabbed a much-needed win Sunday afternoon in Game 3 thanks to Ondrej Palat's go-ahead goal with 42 seconds left, lifting the Lightning to a 3-2 win and closing the Rangers' series lead to 2-1.

New York jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to two second-period power play goals, but the Lightning responded with one of their own in the frame and another goal on the man-advantage in the third to knot things up before Palat's game-winner.

Tampa Bay peppered New York goalie Igor Shesterkin with 52 shots in their best effort of the series. Now, they have a chance to grab another win at home on Tuesday night and send the series back to New York tied 2-2.
