As the Maple Leafs-Panthers second-round series shifts to Florida, Toronto finds itself in a less-than-ideal situation.

The Panthers have a 2-0 series lead heading into Game 3 tonight in Sunrise. Florida grabbed both games in Toronto to start off the series and have a chance to build a commanding lead at home.

After winning Game 1, the Panthers earned a 3-2 victory in Game 2. The Maple Leafs grabbed an early 2-0 lead in the first period, but the Panthers rattled off three unanswered goals to seal a 3-2 win. All three goals were a result of turnovers, whether forced by the Panthers and their forecheck, or self-inflicted mistakes from the Leafs.

"This one’s disappointing," Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe said after Game 2. "We’re rolling early in the game. You just give it back to them. Those are things that we haven’t done and we just can’t do."

Once again, Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky was sensational. The two-time Vezina winner made 35 saves to win his fifth consecutive postseason start.

Toronto is facing as close to a must-win game as you can get tonight in Game 3. Only four teams have been able to come back from down 3-0 in an NHL playoff series and win.
