Well that was fast.
The Los Angeles Kings were in Montreal on Thursday night in a tight bout with the Canadiens, and both teams were approaching the end of the first period without having scored a goal.
Then, within just 11 seconds, the Kings were up 2-0.
With only 61 seconds left in the first period, winger Adrian Kempe capitalized on a Montreal turnover, finding the back of the net.
Eleven seconds later, center Tyler Toffoli stole the puck and slid one past goalie Carey Price from the circle to score a goal with only 50 seconds left in the period.
Just like that, the Kings had built a 2-0 lead.
