Justin Bieber is one of the biggest Maple Leafs fans you will find. That doesn't sit particularly well with Canadiens fans, especially not the ones who were in attendance at his concert this week in Montreal.
The Canadian pop star performed Tuesday night at Bell Centre, the home of the Canadiens, one of the stops on his Justice World Tour.
The diehard Toronto fan began poking fun at the Canadiens and praising his Leafs, which resulted in a shower of boos raining down from around the venue.

You can hear Bieber hyping his close friend and Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews by saying, "Auston Matthews is really doing some work here in Montreal," in reference to the goal Matthews scored against Montreal over the weekend.
From the video, you can also hear him say, "How about those Leafs though, huh?"; "How's that playoff spot looking for you guys this year?"; and "Maybe next year, maybe next year," all resulting in more boos and eventually a "Go, Habs, Go" chant.
Bieber has been one of the most vocal Maple Leafs fans and recently collaborated with the team to create the first reversible jersey, worn by the Maple Leafs in their Next Gen game.
Of course, there isn't much that Canadiens fans can do to defend against the taunts. Montreal has been one of the worst teams in the NHL this season, sporting a 18-38-11 record and sitting in last in the Eastern Conference. The club has already been eliminated from postseason contention with a month to go in the regular season.
On the other hand, Bieber's Maple Leafs are 42-19-5, owning the seventh-best record in the league, and sit in third in the Atlantic Division. They should be a lock for the playoffs, where the team is eyeing a series win for the first time since 2004.
But, hey, at least Habs fans can hold onto that playoff win from last season where they stormed back from being down 3-1 in the series to upset the Leafs.
