PITTSBURGH — Gerrit Cole watched Nick Mangold and took notes.
Cole, the Pirates' best starting pitcher, showed up at Consol Energy Center for Game 4 of Pens-Caps. He was wearing a Sidney Crosby jersey, and he meant business. Amanda Jupena, a social media producer for WTAE, was nearby.

That was during warmups. Double points for staring dead at the phone while slugging the Lite tall boy.
Mangold, a center for the Jets, did something similar to the Penguins at Madison Square Garden during Round 1. He got the full "sir, calm down, you're making a scene" treatment, though. We've been watching from the press box to see if Cole gets the same.
UPDATE: He got the same (via @CapitalsHill).

You can see him here, in the Crosby jersey directly against the glass, after Pittsburgh scored to make it 2-1.
Here he is a few minutes after that, on the video board.
