Oct. 31 is here, and while there are just two NHL games on the night's slate, there have been plenty of Halloween costumes for fans to enjoy.

Players across the league have been doing their best this week to showcase their creative sides. A look at some of the best getups:

Boston Bruins

Bruins players turned up at Boston Children's Hospital on Oct. 28 dressed as characters from the "Toy Story" movies, but that wasn't their only costume-filled adventure this week. Zdeno Chara posted a snapshot from the team's Halloween party on Instagram Oct. 30.

There are at least "Eleven" reasons why Brad Marchand's costume is one of the "Stranger Things" we have seen this Halloween.

Carolina Hurricanes

We'll just leave this here.

Columbus Blue Jackets

Pierre Luc-Dubois rolled up as Ron Burgundy with the rest of the "Anchorman"  news team in tow. Rookie forward Alexandre Texier turned in an impressive look as Steve Carell's Brick Tamland, while Jakob Lilja and Emil Bemstrom dressed as Champ Kind and Bryan Fantana, respectively.

Edmonton Oilers

Umm, Connor, we think you may have your holidays mixed up.

The good news is that there are still 55 days before "fat boy" gives all the Whos in Whoville the presents they obviously don't deserve.

Montreal Canadiens

Many believe there is absolutely nothing funny about Max Domi's Halloween costume. In fact, he has just one question for you:

New Jersey Devils

Blake Coleman has a very, very special relationship with his volleyball — so much so, in fact, that we believe if he were stranded on a deserted island, he would likely choose to have Wilson with him.

New York Islanders

In what might be considered the most appropriate Halloween costume for a hockey player, Jordan Eberle dressed up as . . . a tooth fairy.

It's no secret that hockey players have trouble hanging onto their teeth, but Eberle has you covered should you misplace them.

Ottawa Senators

We may have a dual-sport athlete with Brady Tkachuk. If he has handles like Jackie Moon, then the Phoenix Suns may want to bring the Scottsdale, Ariz., native in for a tryout.

San Jose Sharks

Patrick Marleau is back in California and everyone is very excited about it; however, his wife seems more concerned about his steady hands as a doctor than as a hockey player this Halloween.

Also, please take note of his nametag — "Dr. Will Tickle M.D." is ready to see you now.

Toronto Maple Leafs

Auston Matthews got into the fun with his homage to Queen front man Freddie Mercury. Morgan Rielly showed off his (fake) luscious locks while pairing with his teammate as Queen instrumentalist Brian May.

Vancouver Canucks

"Shrek" was an instant classic when it hit theaters in 2001. "Shrek 2" was solid. Then they just kept making more and more.

Enter the Canucks, who took Shrek, Donkey and the gang to another level.

Vegas Golden Knights

William Karlsson may not be the only Joker in the NHL, but with Harley Quinn by his side, this is a dynamic duo you don't want to cross in Gotham — or Sin City.

Marc-Andre Fleury dressed up as "It" — no, not Pennywise the clown, but Cousin Itt from "The Addams Family," and it was fantastic. Although Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, the goaltender made sure Wednesday was involved as well.
