Patrick Eaves will look to get himself right on and off the ice as he was assigned to the AHL's San Diego Gulls on Wednesday. Eaves was waived by the Ducks on Tuesday after suiting up for a combined 12 games this season between the and San Diego Gulls.
In addition to his limited games this season, Eaves has been a victim of poor health over the past couple of seasons as he missed all but two games last season due to a combination of illness (Guillain-Barre syndrome) and shoulder and back injuries.
