Washington Commanders waiver wire order around final cuts image

The Washington Commanders look like one of those teams that could use some help on the NFL’s waiver wire after final cuts. 

Those Commanders continue to undergo a massive program overhaul around new head coach Dan Quinn. The most recent highlight was the stunner of trading away a recent first-round pick

Obvious problems persist across the roster, too. The offensive line in front of Jayden Daniels is a question mark. So are the non-Terry McLaurin weapons at wideout and the secondary looks underwhelming. 

Luckily for the Commanders, after trimming the roster to 53 players on Tuesday, they will have until noon ET on Wednesday to submit waiver claims. Released players with at least four accrued seasons go right to free agency, while players with less than that are subjected to waivers. Should they clear waivers, they also head to free agency.
