The Tennessee Titans are off to a rough start to the 2024 season after dropping both of their first two games. As a result of lackluster play and some terrible mistakes, quarterback Will Levis has taken the brunt of the blame.

Making matters worse for Levis, his phone number was apparently leaked online, which led to the Titans quarterback getting some unwanted text messages following the Week 2 loss to the New York Jets.

“I don’t know how my number got out there with the fans, but I got a lot of texts,” Levis said, per Terry McCormick of Main Street Nashville. “That’ll be nice to shut that part and put it behind me. I haven’t opened social [media] in the last couple of weeks. I just think that’s the healthiest way to go about it. I don’t want to or care to hear any of the things people say about me, and I’m just going to keep chugging along regardless of what they say. It sucks that the world is the way that it is, and I’m looking forward to having some privacy.”

Say what you want about his play, but nobody deserves to be harassed in the manner that Levis was. Whoever leaked his information has some serious soul searching to do. Yes, Levis is a public figure, but he deserves the right to his privacy off the field.

This is just the latest example of someone in the league having their privacy invaded. Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell recently had to sell his house due to security concerns after fans found out where he lived.

There is a certain line you just don't cross when it comes to sports fandom, but not everyone abides by the rules. Thankfully, it's just a small number of people and an entire fanbase shouldn't be judged because of a few bad apples.
